Dan Tutrow
Director of Client Services

Being the Director of Client Services, I am here for our clients! This is not just a title to me. I am passionate about building positive, long-term relationships that enhance our client’s lives- and in turn, my own. I genuinely believe in doing what is right for people- regardless of time, effort, or financial cost. I strive to live by this scripture- 1 Corinthians 16:14, “Let all that you do be done in love.”
My name is Dan Tutrow, and I am the son of Margie and Willie Tutrow (both deceased), who instilled in me from an early age that it is always best to be kind to people. I graduated from Indiana State University in 1995. Between then and 2000, I had a few Sales jobs- which I enjoyed, but due to my competitive nature, led to a lot of stress. I then spent almost 19 years at AT&T, where I made many lifelong relationships. In 2003 I joined a local church where I made the most important decision of my life- to live for Christ and not for myself. Doing this has let me release my competitive nature and focus more on what matters- my wife, children, and friends.
My children both are “Riley Kids”- meaning they have been patients at Riley Children’s Hospital. They both have rare medical conditions which have required multiple brain surgeries, shunts, and other procedures. There is no cure for these conditions; however, we have given that burden to God to carry- and He has given us such peace!
My faith and family are my top priorities, and it’s taken me several years to realize that I needed my “job” to be about more than work or money. I then made a difficult decision to leave AT&T just a few years short of being able to retire and begin a new career at Charles Schwab. I met many amazing people there, and the company culture renewed my belief that people CAN do good things for others and a business CAN do the right thing and still be successful. Then Jason, the owner of Dynamic Legacy Planning and a longtime friend, reached out to me and offered me a position with his firm. I am excited to be a part of a company in my hometown with the intentional goal of bringing joy to the lives of its clients.
This is my desire, not only in life but in my career, to help people find happiness and peace. We strive to do this daily, which allows me to no longer struggle with “job requirements” but to thirst after building positive, meaningful relationships with people in my community.
